Privacy policy

• Identity and contact: your name, mobile number and, if you give it, your email and delivery address.
• Orders and payments: what you bought, when, the delivery address, the payment method and the reference our payment provider (Selcom) returns. We never see or store your mobile-money PIN or full card number.
• Account activity: sign-in codes, wishlist, wallet balance and transactions.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, WhatsApp, SMS or email.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookies needed to keep your cart and session.

• To take, pack, deliver and support your order, and to send you the SMS updates you expect (order received, payment received, on the way, delivered).
• To sign you in securely with a one-time code and to prevent fraud or abuse.
• To answer your messages and handle returns and refunds.
• To keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.
• With your consent only: to tell you about offers. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.

Only what is needed, only with partners that help us serve you: Selcom (payment processing), Momo Business (SMS delivery), our delivery riders and courier partners (name, phone and address), and Meta/WhatsApp if you contact us there. We do not sell your data.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your cart, a security cookie to protect forms, and a small preference cookie to remember that you have seen our cookie notice. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Account and order records are kept for as long as you have an account and for the period required by Tanzanian tax law (generally five years). Contact messages are kept for two years. Sign-in codes expire after 15 minutes.

You can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, or delete your account and data (we may need to keep order and tax records). You can also object to marketing. Write to info@mkingaempire.tz or use the contact form; we respond within 30 days. You may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission if you are not satisfied.

Data travels over HTTPS, sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords, payments are handled by a licensed provider, and access to customer data inside our team is limited to people who need it to serve you.
